neuropsycological & Psychoeducational evaluations
Neuropsychological evaluations
I offer comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations for individuals across the lifespan, from children to older adults. These evaluations are designed to answer important questions about learning, memory, attention, problem-solving, language, and overall brain functioning. I work with a wide range of referrals, including neurodegenerative conditions (such as Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias), traumatic brain injuries, and neurodevelopmental disorders (including ADHD, learning differences, and autism spectrum disorders).
In addition, I provide specialized pre-surgical evaluations for patients preparing for procedures such as epilepsy surgery, deep brain stimulation (DBS), and treatments for hydrocephalus. These assessments help patients, families, and medical teams better understand cognitive strengths and challenges, guide treatment decisions, and plan for the best possible outcomes.
My goal is to deliver clear, compassionate, and practical feedback that supports patients and their families in understanding their brain health and navigating the next steps in care. Please note that services are offered on a private-pay basis, and insurance is not accepted.
psychoeducational evaluations and
independent educational evaluations (IEE)
I provide psychoeducational evaluations for children, adolescents, and young adults. These assessments are designed to clarify learning strengths and challenges, identify the presence of learning differences or ADHD, and support individualized educational planning. My evaluations examine areas such as academic achievement, attention, executive functioning, memory, and social-emotional skills to provide a well-rounded understanding of a student’s learning profile. When relevant, the findings of these evaluations may also serve to support accommodations in K–12 classrooms as well as at the college or university level.
Independent educational evaluations (IEEs) can be requested by families when additional clarity or a second opinion is needed as part of the IEP process. These evaluations help parents and schools collaborate more effectively by offering objective, comprehensive information that guides decision-making and ensures appropriate services and accommodations are provided.
My goal is to deliver clear, actionable recommendations that empower families and educators to create supportive learning environments. Please note that these services are offered on a private-pay basis or, in the case of an independent educational evaluation (IEE), through a school district contract directly with BAPS.
